On September 20, 2023, the first analyses of the SOSEC panel data were published in the Tagesspiegel. The results show a decline in economic concerns among the population, but also an increase in anger in some segments of the population, triggered by ongoing crises. The rise in anger is also accompanied by growing sympathy for extreme parties and poses a risk of the deterioration of political discourse.
