On May 15 and 17, the Tagesspiegel published new findings from the SOSEC data. Among other things, the analyses focused on respondents’ attitudes towards climate change. A mixed picture emerged: concern about the consequences of climate change remained high, but approval of climate protection measures fell slightly. At the same time, concerns about the consequences of the war in Ukraine “overtook” concerns about the effects of the climate crisis in spring 2024.
